Volta, Light House Cinema's online partner

At Light House Cinema, we know that it can be hard for new parents to get the time to do something for themselves.  Our dedicated Parent and Baby screenings each Saturday and Wednesday morning let you catch one of our new releases without having to find a sitter, or worrying that you’ll have to run for the door if the little one gets fussy.

To make it easier for parents to catch a film, there is discounted parking in the Queen St. car park for Light House Cinema patrons. We also have a place to store your pram or buggy, and we turn down the volume and keep low lighting for baby’s comfort.  There’s a range of fresh sandwiches, cakes, herbal teas and coffee (decaf and regular) at our café where you can meet and chat with other mums and dads. Show your ticket after the screening for 10% off lunch at our café!

This week we're showing NIGHT MOVES

Three radical environmentalists come together to execute the most intense protest of their lives: the explosion of a hydroelectric dam and symbol of the industrial culture they despise. Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard star in this taut, suspense thriller.
