Synopsis

Angst-ridden college student, Nanase Nobata, lives with her father, Hakaru, president of the Nobata Pharmaceutical Company. Resentful of his constant nagging about her life, she urges him daily to “Drop dead (once)!” - until, one day, he does drop dead while developing a revolutionary “reverse ageing” drug. All is not as it seems: the drug only causes ‘temporary death’, followed by a full recovery in two days. Nonetheless, his death sets off an uproar, as his will names Nanase as the new company president. A bewildered and distraught Nanase had no inkling of what has actually unfolded, but she can now see her father’s ghost! As the truth becomes clear, Nanase endeavours to prevent her father’s enemies from prematurely cremating his body before the drug can wear off.
