Castration Movie Chapter iii. Junior Ghosts—Premorphic Drift; a fragmentary passage is a new standalone chapter of Louise Weard’s DIY anthology epic, to be enjoyed by new audiences and die-hard fans alike.

A straight couple’s relationship is upended when Izzy’s partner comes out as a trans woman. Overcome by feelings of betrayal and insecurity while her newly-out girlfriend dives headlong into transitioning, Izzy becomes determined to push her back into the closet.

So begins a bleakly hilarious transmisogynist spiral bringing out the worst in everyone who crosses paths with this dysfunctional couple, all told with Weard’s trademark empathy, bluntness, and skin-crawling secondhand embarrassment.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A with Louise Weard and Aoife Josie Clement
