Celebrating Joel Schumacher’s Impact

On Pride Saturday we’re beyond excited to bring you Joel Schumacher's camp and chaotic masterpiece BATMAN FOREVER. To celebrate the legacy of Schumacher’s vision, we’re making it a triple bill with the two modern classics that drew the most influence and inspiration from it. Jane Schoenbrun credits Batman Forever’s ‘heightened, hyperreal world’, for I SAW THE TV GLOW’s otherworldly aesthetic and Vera Drew’s trans awakening came when she experienced it on the big screen for the first time, so its impact was lifechanging and lead to the gift that is THE PEOPLE’S JOKER.
