36th Annual Galway Film Fleadh at Pálás
The Galway Film Fleadh returns for its 36th edition and Pálás are delighted to be taking part in this incredible festival once again!
Running from the 9th – 14th July (from 10th in Pálás), the Fleadh will screen 94 feature films from 45 countries with 20 World Premieres, 7 International/European Premieres and 52 Irish Premieres, 110 short films as well as moderate panels, events and masterclasses.
Highlights for Pálás include:
- An additional screening of Irish hip-hop biopic KNEECAP, a global rallying cry for the defence of native cultures.
- The Irish premiere of Anthony Chen's THE BREAKING ICE, with Chen in attendance for a post show discussion.
- Andrew McCarthy's BRATS, fresh off a Tribeca premiere.
- The Irish Premiere of Désirée Nosbusch's directorial debut, POISON.
- The International Premiere of WHO'S YER FATHER?, a hilarious Canadian crime caper from Director Jeremy Larter.
