LIGHT HOUSE WELCOMES DIFF 2023

Light House Cinema is thrilled to host the Dublin International Film Festival team and audiences once again this year.

The festival is celebrating it's 21st Birthday and we are delighted to celebrating along with them. Last week Festival director Gráinne Humphreys was at Light House to launch this year's programme. And what a programme it is!

The festival's Opening Gala is God's Creatures, a Director's Fortnight pick from Cannes, starring Emily Watson (who will receive this year's Volta award) and Oscar nominee Paul Mescal. Other highlights include Lukas Dhont’s Oscar nominated Close, Irish features Claire Dix's Sunlight, Andrew Legge's LOLA, and John Connors' The Black Guelph. Among many many other wonderful films, panels and discussions.
