        November / December Highlights

It is that time of year when people start making lists, and checking them twice, trying to decide who has been naughty and who has been nice. We aren’t talking about Christmas countdowns, but that other important festive period, Award season! There are some possible contenders already, but could any of the films you see in the next few months beat them to the nomination? We think they just might.
How’s this for a stellar winter line-up: Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, Daniel Day Lewis’ long awaited return to the big screen, Jennifer Lawrence in a Lynne Ramsay film, George Clooney playing a movie star (okay, so that’s not really a stretch) and let’s not forget Timothée’s epic commitment to ping-pong! You will also have a chance to get a jump on the Best International Feature category with three of the most talked about films from Cannes: Palme d’Or winner Jafar Panahi’s funny/sobering It Was Just An Accident, Joachim Tier’s heartfelt Sentimental Value and Julia Ducournau’s unforgettable Alpha.
Naughty or Nice returns for all your festive cheer, you can expect our line-up to be announced in early November. We love being part of your festive season and welcoming so many of you back for your Christmas film traditions, as well as some new wild card selections in the mix this year. If you have cinema-lovers on your shopping list – don’t forget to pick up a Light House gift voucher as a stocking filler!
