Our Access Policy
Light House Cinema aims to recognise and acknowledge people’s differences and support them with their individual needs. We support equal access and oppose all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination.
Wheelchair Accessibility
Our building is fully wheelchair accessible with lifts located on each floor. There is a dedicated accessible toilet located on the mezzanine at -2 level, please ask a member of staff for the pass code to gain entry.
Each Screen has designated wheelchair accessible seats. These seats are located in the front row of Screens One, Two and Three and in the back row of Screen Four
Availability of the wheelchair seats differs with every performance. A complimentary carer seat is provided with these seats.

Impaired Hearing
There is a Loop system in every screen. The loop system is an assistive listening device that works along with your hearing aid. The aim of the loop system is to help overcome background noise. The loop system must be activated in your hearing aid for you to be able to connect. Not all hearing aids are compatible with this system.

Open Caption Details:
- Similar to subtitles, Open Captions display important audio information as well as dialogue on-screen throughout the duration of the film.
Sensory Screenings Details:
- We take measures to ensure low lighting and sound levels, as well as the removal of trailers before each film, and the audience will be able to bring their own food to ensure everyone can feel at home.
- Assistance dogs are always welcome.
- Our spacious bar is reserved to audience members and family to provide a comfortable chill-out space if you need some time out of the screening.
- Our friendly staff will be on-hand to provide assistance and support if needed.
Accessible Parking
The QPark car park on Queen Street has a limited number of designated disabled parking spaces, for more information see their website here.
Pram Access
For parent and baby screenings we reserve an area to park prams for the duration of the film. Our usher staff will be on hand to assist.
