Synopsis

It's summertime! In June we're reading Peter Benchley pulpy thriller Jaws, and watching Steven Spielberg's classic big-screen adaptation. The shark movie to end all shark movies - Jaws is the perfect summer thriller about a shark terrorising a small beach community over the 4th July weekend and the rag-tag team who decide to venture out to kill him.

Cinema Book Club is a monthly event where we read a book then watch the big screen adaptation and meet afterwards for a chat in the Light House Cinema Bar. No need to join, just buy your ticket and come along. All are welcome, even if you haven't read the book.
