Dublin International Film Festival @ Light House and Pálás
It's February which means it's time for the Dublin International Film Festival! Always a highlight any Irish film lover's calendar, this year's festival line-up is, as ever, packed with absolute gems that will screen between February 22 and March 2. We're thrilled to be hosting many of these screenings, and we look forward to welcoming DIFF's team and audiences to Smithfield later in the month.
Each February, DIFF transforms Dublin into a hub of cinematic excellence for ten enchanting days. The programme features star-studded Irish and international premieres, exclusive screenings and events, playful and powerful documentaries, captivating features, thought-provoking shorts, intimate Q&As, industry masterclasses, parties and celebrations. The festival also hosts its prestigious award ceremony, celebrating the art of filmmaking and the power of storytelling.

Galway Film Society will be teaming up with Dublin International Film Festival and access>CINEMA to allow Galway audiences experience some of this year’s DIFF programme as part of the DIFF Tour.
The Festival Tour includes some festival highlights; French comedy drama Toni, starring Camille Cottin and West African folklore tale Mami Wata. This expanded Festival Tour will give audiences beyond Dublin an opportunity to engage with the festival experience and view a variety of exceptional world cinema titles

Synopsis:
This genre-bending tale brings to life a futuristic fable that fuses spiritual beliefs with inter-generational tensions.
