Your guide to the bank holiday weekend at Light House & Pálás

"No, you are going to have to turn this opportunity yes."

There really is just something for everyone this Easter weekend at Light House & Pálás with an absolute wealth of films such as Robot Dreams, Baltimore, Perfect Days, Anatomy of a Fall, Dune: Part II, Monster and Late Night with the Devil being joined by new openers Kung Fu Panda 4 (Light House / Pálás), Disco Boy (Light House) and Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus (Light House). Included are Open Caption (Light House / Pálás) and Sensory screenings (Light House / Pálás) of Kung Fu Panda 4. But the fun, drama, horror and suspense doesn't stop there...

Inspired by Drive Away Dolls and the upcoming release of Love Lies Bleeding, our On The Run season has taken off in a cloud of dust on a dirt road and continues this weekend in Light House, Terrence Malick's Badlands, and all-time great of American cinema and a visual and sensory feast on the big screen, Perry Henzel's The Harder They Come, the film credited with bringing reggae to the world. An iconic film with an iconic soundtrack featuring music by Jimmy Cliff, The Maytals. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty blast their way on to our screen on Easter Monday with the film that ushered in a new era, Bonnie & Clyde. In Pálás, get ready to hit the open road again on April 7 with Joseph H. Lewis’ wildly inventive Gun Crazy.

We've added more shows of the rereleases of two absolute classics - Martin Scorsese's After Hours (Light House) and City of God (Light House / Pálás) both have selected screenings across the weekend and are truly unmissable on the big screen. Joining these will the rerelease of Mary Poppins for its 60th anniversary, anyone with the name Mary gets a free ticket by the way, (Light House / Pálás) and Jimmy Stewart and his imaginary friend Harvey, our Easter Bunny this year (Light House / Pálás).

With The Zone of Interest still playing, we're taking the opportunity to celebrate its visionary director Jonathan Glazer and will screen Under the Skin, Sexy Beast and Birth across the weekend at Light House. There has never been a better time to give thanks and praise to this cinematic force of nature and we might even throw in some of his music videos before the screenings. Coming soon to Pálás.

      See you at the movies!
